Shri Madhav Ganesh Paranjape
An Epitome of Education in Human Values
Shri M. G. Paranjape was born on 15th July 1930.
Dynamic in personality, quiet in conduct, austere in habits, unostentatious in behaviour, prompt in action, simple in his attire, and deeply sympathetic in his feelings—such was our revered MGP.
Though honoured with numerous titles and distinctions, his truest identity was that of an educator. He joined Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar as its Principal on 1st July 1987, providing visionary leadership rooted in academic excellence and human values. After retiring as Principal in 1995, he continued to serve the institution as its Director, carrying forward his commitment and dedication with unwavering devotion until the very end of his life.
He inspired generations of students and teachers through his exemplary leadership, compassion, and steadfast commitment to values.
He remained active throughout his life, serving as a true role model and faithfully following the path shown by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. On 17th March 2026, he merged at the Lotus Feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Though no longer physically with us, his legacy of wisdom, simplicity, and selfless service continues to inspire all who are blessed to be a part of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar.
